WHY INNER HAVEN

What God builds within becomes something we build in the world.

Jesus said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” Inner Haven is the outworking of the Kingdom of God within my life—the building of visible structures from what God has first built within. Through consulting, publishing, theological formation, and whatever else may grow from this work, Inner Haven seeks to build structures that serve the purposes of the Kingdom: structures that strengthen people, steward ideas, cultivate wisdom, and create places where others can be formed. In this way, what God builds within becomes something we build in the world, planting seeds through which the inward work of the Kingdom might take root in others and find outward expression through their lives.
